Walk a Mile 2010

This year’s event was a great success!  We had very committed walkers who donned a variety of footwear to “walk a mile” on behalf of women.  The walk drew attention to the reality of gender violence in a unique and lively way and sent a message to the community that this kind of abuse and violence won’t be tolerated in our community.   At our inaugural Walk a Mile in Her Shoes we raised $5,000.  

Thank you to all who came out and either ‘Walked a Mile in Her Shoes’ or supported walkers and enjoyed the day!
