Walk a Mile in Her Shoes
Please join us on on Sunday, October 16, 2011 from 11:00 am -1:00 pm at Heritage Park in Barrie for the 2nd annual Walk a Mile in Her Shoes event.
The walk strives to empower individuals to take a stand against genered violence! Our goal is to enable women to gain perspectives on their situation, explore alternatives and options, and make decisions for themselves.
The event is a way to raise awareness about a very serious subject and engage the community in an enjoyable and fun way.
Become a sponsor or sign up to ‘walk the walk’. Invite friends and family to come out and cheer the walkers as they do their part to end violence against women.
